THE IDEA

New nurses and operating-room staff face large instrument sets whose tools can differ only in jaw pattern, curvature or length. Reflective metal, overlap and awkward angles make the recognition task harder than a flashcard.

ORMatch makes the pile the game. Tap instruments into a seven-slot bar; matching triples clear, while a full bar ends the case. Hold a tool to inspect and rotate it. Short teaching notes point out distinguishing features, and procedure-themed trays give each round a different set to explore.
