THE IDEA / Connect the Dots

Treating tremor calls for comparable observations before, during and after the procedure. A simple drawing task can give the patient something repeatable to do while movement is recorded.

Connect the Dots turns pen-and-tablet tracing into that task. The team’s challenge was to capture useful movement signals during focused-ultrasound treatment. The demonstration shows the interaction; clinical measurement accuracy still needs to be established.
